Five More Talents

Our Mission

Websites connect churches with a large group of potential visitors, influencing their choice of whether to visit on Sunday morning. Five More Talents exists to provide maximum value web design services, web hosting plans, and assistance plans for churches and ministries. Specifically, we help established churches improve outdated websites, and we help church plants establish an effective web presence from the get-go.

Our Philosophy

We have definite opinions about how websites should be built and maintained. First, we are committed to using web standards when coding our websites. Second, we believe that organic growth is the best way to make sure that your website is optimized for search engines.

Web standards are the specifications, recommendations, and guidelines set forth by the World Wide Web Consortium. Using web standards to build websites allows us to create search-friendly sites that load faster, reach more users, and cost less to design, update, and maintain.

Organic growth is the best and surest way to make sure that your site can be found. Organic growth simply means regularly adding content relevant to the subject of your site.

The Story behind Our Name

Five More Talents Logo

The name Five More Talents comes from the Parable of the Talents which Jesus told his disciples. In this parable, Jesus condemns the slothful servant who tried to play it safe, but praises the two diligent servants who took risks for the sake of the growth of their Master's estate.

We are convinced that the key to a effective church website is attention to detail and "faithfulness in a few things." Effective church websites reflect the ongoing vitality and life of a congregation. They are designed with a clear purpose and message. They are updated frequently. They support a church's existing outreach efforts. In short, because of a commitment to continuous improvement, they contribute to the growth of local congregations in both depth and breadth.
