Christ the King Presbyterian Church (PCA) is a congregation in Roanoke, VA, planted in 2006. They had a website—it was actually a redesigned website—but it wasn’t mobile friendly. Since they wanted to serve their online visitors well, they asked 5MT to help them redesign their site yet again.
Making the site mobile-friendly was a main objective, but we had others as well. The church wanted a simpler, uncluttered design. They also wanted to take advantage of the photography they had available and showcase it on the site.
5MT crafted them a website that incorporated the requested design elements. We were also specialized the site’s color. It’s now a muted aqua, and matches the church’s existing letterhead and brochures, giving them a friendly familiarity.
Since the site’s launching in March 2010, Christ the King Presbyterian has made use of it for exhibiting their building campaign and their search for a new pastor. They have received favorable feedback from the pastoral search committee; several candidates have been impressed with the new site.
You did a great job of integrating our feedback… The site really pops and makes an excellent first impression… All in all, you guys smashed it over the center field wall with the redesign.” –Jeff Clinton, Christ the King Presbyterian Church, Roanoke, VA
